How your legacy can make a real difference

Your LegacyThe importance of making a will.

Making a Will is an important responsibility for each Christian. A valid Will can ensure that provision is made for your family from your estate. It can also ensure that others benefit from your estate. A valid Will helps to avoid legal complications. It can also help to minimise tax liabilities. In contrast if you die without leaving a valid Will, sorting things out could be complicated and costly.

Where do I start?

A Will is an important legal document and we recommend that you get advice from a solicitor. This need not be expensive and you can ask the solicitor to quote a price before beginning the work.‘Do it yourself’ Wills may be a false economy because even a small error can invalidate a Will. You should also have some idea of the value of your estate.
