Our project focuses on disadvantaged rural Muslim communities. Government schools lack qualified English teachers, textbooks and supplies. Poverty prevents teenagers from accessing elite schools or private English classes. Our weekly English clubs give bright, motivated kids an opportunity to learn. Summer programs provide fun, intensive learning experiences.

We are also running professional development seminars for English teachers and teacher-trainees, giving them an opportunity to improve their language-fluency and teaching skills.

Poverty in rural Central Asia drives many men to seek work in Russia for months or years at a time. Although labor migration ensures economic survival of many rural families, its long-term consequences are horrific – the current increases in family breakdown and substance abuse and especially the rising rate of HIV infection can all be directly linked to labor migration.

Our development organization’s projects take a holistic approach to health education, addressing the facts related to sexual health, HIV infection and other health issues within a moral framework where deeper issues are also addressed.

In traditional Central Asian culture, such subjects are normally discussed in single sex groups. As a result, our development organization urgently needs men with a health background and training gifts who can lead community-based health education projects aimed at men.

As part of the Global Action Programme you will be the Coordinator of the Intensive Training Programme.  The students are in Chile for nine months and are involved in different ministries (children's work, art, skateboard ministry, homeless). You also will be part of one or more of these ministries.

Preparing Chileans for missionary service in English speaking teams.
You may teach English in small classes, no more than eight adult students, with some one-to-one classes.
Classes will be for beginners or intermediate students.

Coordinating the Global Action (2 year) programme,defining specific tasks, providing training, helping people to find their way in Chile and within the organisation.

The homeless ministry is an growing ministry in OM Chile where you will be part of.

The Maintenance Supervisor will be in charge of the maintenance of the OM Chile facilities.

Arts ministry: The ancient Greeks used the arts to communicate important messages. Why should we not do the same, sharing the message of the gospel through the creative arts, music, drama, paintings etc?
This ministry has high development potential in Greece and we are open for people who can be our art pioneers, as the work has not yet been established, although we have some contacts with some Greek Christian artists.
We are not only thinking about producing art but also encouraging and discipling believers to use the arts in communicating the Gospel.

American football is a rapidly growing sport in Hungary. Over the last 7 years 36 teams have been started. There is a desperate need for coaches who can help. The Hungarian American Football Federation has asked OM Hungary Sports Ministry to find coaches. This coaching position is an excellent opportunity to share your faith and life with future leaders of Hungary. Coach in a local club and minister with a local church planter to build meaningful relationships through this growing sport.
Coaching experience is helpful with this position. Besides coaching, you can lead English Bible studies for the players, teach football in the local schools, and help the local church planter with other ministries you enjoy. Training is offered in language and culture.

Baseball is a growing sport in Hungary, but still in the development stages. Every club would love to have an experienced player playing for them, and many church planters are interested in using sports ministry.
You will play on the local mens fast pitch baseball team and help them with their youth baseball program. All of your ministry will be in partnership with a local church planter to build meaningful relationships through baseball. You will also have the opportunity to help in sports camps and with the training of Hungarian National team players.

A mission outreach opportunity based in Hungary but covering many different  Central/Eastern European Countries. The Food Services Coordinator will work with the Director of Conferences and Events to plan and provide meals for special events, conferences held on the OM Ireland property.  This would include cooking for or finding hired help to cook for individual guests and larger groups of Christian workers attending conferences, meetings or training sessions.
 You will be asked to plan, prepare and serve meals for groups from 2 to 100.
Planning menus, shopping, cooking, and showing special care for guest with particular dietary needs will be utilizing your practical gifts to bless OM and our God.

OM Ireland’s Immersion programme is designed to immerse its participants in God’s word, in ministry, and in Irish Culture.  Immersion consists of teaching and training in a classroom environment at OM Ireland’s ministry headquarters, Lacken House, where participants will be instructed in a wide range of topics including evangelism, Bible study, apologetics, spiritual gifts, and much more!  The majority of the Immersion experience will occur away from Lacken House where Immersion teams will live and serve in villages and towns with partner churches throughout Ireland, doing various types of ministries including organising kids clubs, working in Christian book stores, being involved in sports ministry, organising women’s bible studies, leading a youth group and more.

The Maintenance Supervisor will be in charge of the up keep and maintenance of the OM Ireland property including all buildings and grounds.  The five acre property consists of the Main House with 5 guest rooms, 3 Chalets, and a 2-story Office Block. You will use your management and leadership skills to oversee the operations department to ensure smooth running, effective usage and further enhancement of the Lacken House property, the headquarters of OM Ireland.

Here at OM Ireland the Creative Arts Ministry Department is all about using our creative, random, crazy, out of the box ideas to share the love of God. We place a strong emphasis on creativity and the arts and we have pioneered a range of programmes using the arts:

We are looking for a Vehicle Fleet Coordinator to look after our fleet of 20 plus vehicles. OM Lifehope is seeking an experienced Football coach to work with Muslim boys. We are already working with the youth through regular youth clubs. OM Lifehope is looking for qualified male and female youth workers to work with an established youth work. You will have regular meetings with the youth, visit their friends, and develop relationships with families. The application developer will perform full cycle system implementation including process mapping, requirements gathering, specification writing, system analysis, system development, full cycle testing, implementation and post-production support.

Responsible for assisting in the preparation of the annual budget, review of financial systems, processes and controls; and must remain up-to-date on not-for-profit, regulatory and functional trends.

The business analyst is responsible for the technology enabling OM business processes.  He/she will understand OM standard operating procedures (SOP) and insure that software matches SOP without error.  He/she will also manage IT standard development techniques including project management, standard development cycles, quality assurance, implementation, and training.

Responsible for human resources for the OM USA field including personnel functions, staffing needs, compensation and benefits, policy and compliance, member care, and provide leadership for the HR department.

The primary mission of this position is to increase the effectiveness of the VP of People Development by skillfully managing a wide range of administrative and executive support related tasks and projects related to helping, equipping and sustaining American missionaries serving with OM around the world. The ideal candidate will be experienced in administrative support and will be able to work independently within a team. This person must be exceedingly well organized, flexible and enjoy the administrative challenges of supporting an office team of diverse people and programs. A person who not only can cook well but is able to view providing meals as a ministry is needed to provide food service for the OM USA office. The Coordinator of Food Services will work with the Director of Conferences and Events to plan and provide meals for special events, conferences held on the OM USA property, and team events.

Working with our Placement Team, the Inquirer Scouting Coordinator responds to persons interested in serving with missions overseas.  Duties include following up and building relationships with applicants as they go through the application process as well as assisting the Placement Advisors in facilitating appropriate placement in the Global Action/Global Service Programs.

This role includes responsibility for managing and overseeing the review of Grant Proposals from India, clarifying the purpose of the Grant Request, submitting the Grant Request for approval to the OM USA CFO and, after the Grant is made, monitoring the required reports and verifying outcome of the Grant assuring it is in accordance with the approved Grant.

Help meet the practical needs of missionaries serving overseas so that they can better fulfill their calling. Duties include "customer service", facilitating transitions to and from the field, assisting missionaries with financial and insurance questions,and maintaining current records.

Assess, produce, organize, facilitate and develop a range of missional training that develops people in the life-cycle of missional growth and service.

Summary: To steward, facilitate, coordinate, and build relationships between American Christian Colleges, Christian College groups on secular campuses, and college/career ministries in local churches, in order to mobilize college/career age individuals for world missions. The boat will serve as a medical clinic and will visit villages on the shores of Lake Tanganyika once a month on the Zambian side from Tanzania to D.R. Congo border (± 230 km roundtrip visiting ± 11 villages)

In Mpulungu on the shores of Lake Tanganyika is a school for orphan children.  These little people are in need of teachers who love the Lord and who will love them.

Our Orphan school runs from Grade 0 to 3.

Other primary duties include identifying cost trends for management attention and taking responsibility for cost engineering, cost estimating, and cost analysis/control activities.

Discipling the workforce is also one of the most important areas of your work. You will have the opportunity to lead devotions and get to know the Zambian workforce.

Life in Africa involves traveling long distances on poor roads.  Without our vehicles we would be very limited in our effectiveness.
