Through the dynamic ministry of OM Turning Point in London, teams are building friendships and sharing the truth about Jesus with people from the Middle East, North Africa, Asia and other parts of Europe.

You will be a part of a team that will oversee the hospitality, housekeeping, and various types of outreach and training conferences; including cooking, shopping, cleaning and stocking.

A desire to encourage and pray with conference particpants is a great bonus to the ministry.

At the International Coordinating Team (ICT) we have about 70 members of staff, including a number of families. We believe that each person is an important part of the team. To facilitate the ministry we have four office buildings on two different sites, situated 6 miles apart. The purpose of the position is
to provide services in helping the ICT team members to be effective in their ministry, by providing adequate housing, encourage fellowship and team unity, provide pastoral care and help with areas of office work.

OM's International Communications Department is in need of Web Designers. This role will require the production of web designs to reflect OM's unique character and multinational culture.

Then the role of Journalist at our Training Centre is for you.  We are looking for a creative writer to produce regular articles about our different ministries at Lifehope.  You will visit our teams, interview team members and local pastors and produce short stories and reports for the web and our publications.

You will feature the work of our current five community outreach teams, some of our specialised teams such as Kids 'n' Things and our Chinese team, our training programmes and our other vital support ministries. You will also have the opportunity to join some of our short-term missions in order to interview some of our short-term participants and write the final report at the end of the mission.

With the doors wide open for accepting overseas students, about 80,000 students have come from Mainland China.
 
You will be joining an established ministry team reaching out to Chinese people in the UK including Cantonese speaking residents, Mandarin speaking students from mainland China and English-speaking, British-born Chinese. The team has been helping the Chinese churches with Bible study groups, evangelism training and preaching. You will also be involved in street evangelism and reaching out to univeristy students.

OM Lifehope has an established community development project where more than 90% of the people are Muslim. The majority of them are from Pakistani background and some from Africa and Bangladesh. The IFO of OM is an internationally endorsed role involving direction of finance systems and leadership of the finance community throughout the OM family of ministries. The job would suit a proven Finance professional with an established track record of problem solving and team leadership across cultural and international boundaries. An internationally recognised qualification is a prerequisite to represent the organisation within our regulatory frameworks.

We need an enthusiastic person to manage our IT systems.  You will help with computer problems and maintain our email and file server. Although previous experience in IT is a big advantage, you will be trained on-the-job and supported by OM’s international technical support team. Besides your IT work there are plenty of opportunities to be involved with our ministry teams if wanted.

OM UK's National Headquarters team, based in Shropshire, England, represents OM's worldwide (in over 100 countries) work to the UK church and helps to resource that work with finance and people. We serve about 400 OM UK workers serving in the UK and overseas. 
The Systems Administrator’s role is to maintain and develop the IT facilities for the busy national office and those working in regional offices.

OM's standard server (file/print/mail) operating system is an enhanced version of Linux based on CentOS 5.  Our version includes a simple to use menuing system to aid system administration tasks. Developers are required to take advantage of Linux improvements and to add further functionality to our standard server operating system. A tester is required to assist in the verification of new functionality and bug fixes. It would be possible to perform this role from a remote location.

The training department of OM International Human Resource Services develops, oversees and facilitates appropriate training for work roles and personal development for all its staff. The online learning developer will work with the other training professionals in the department to extend the e-learning capacity to meet OM needs. Currently, an online learning management tool (Moodle) is being used, and it is expected that other e-learning tools will be implemented in the future.

We need an enthusiastic person to manage our IT systems.  You will help with computer problems and maintain our email and file server. Although previous experience in IT is a big advantage, you will be trained on-the-job and supported by OM’s international technical support team. Besides your IT work there are plenty of opportunities to be involved with our ministry teams if wanted.

Many of them have never heard the Good News of Jesus Christ. You can join the team to see a Muslim community reached with the Good News of Jesus.

OM Lifehope is seeking an experienced Football coach to work with Muslim boys. We are already working with the youth through regular youth clubs. You will have an opportunity to coach boys, build relationships with them and share the Good News with them. You will also be able to organize tournaments and take teams to attend local tournaments.

Move to Italy in January. Mind, heart, feet and hands are all focused together as you grow in knowledge and faith and put it all into practice. You will join a variety of creative and relational outreach projects such as English chat rooms, kids camps, school programs, marketplace outreaches and sports & arts ministry.  Develop your skills as you impact lives one relationship at a time while deepening your passion for Christ.

Keen to be away from home for a year, learn a foreign language and discover God’s will for your life? Hope 2 Europe is for you! Work with an international team in the UK for five months and Sweden for the next three to six months.

Move to Sweden for the next three to six months.  You will live in Råslätt, a suburb of Jönköping with many immigrants. Reach out to needy peoples from different religious backgrounds together with the local church. The focus in Sweden will be threefold: close to God, close to each other and close to the world. Different opportunities include a youth center, public schools, sports, scouts and a second hand-store.

In January, move to Zurich for the last 6 months. The team is located in the inner city and reaches out to needy people in cooperation with local churches and organisations. Relationship based ministries include a drop-in centre for drug addicts, visiting homes, and a children's club. After you get experience we expect you to take more initiative and responsibility developing your ministry.

Do you enjoy writing stories? Do you want to share what God is doing through your stories? Then the role of Journalist at our Training Centre is for you.  We are looking for a creative writer to produce regular articles about our different ministries at Lifehope.  You will visit our teams, interview team members and local pastors and produce short stories and reports for the web and our publications.

You will feature the work of our current five community outreach teams, some of our specialised teams such as Kids 'n' Things and our Chinese team, our training programmes and our other vital support ministries. You will also have the opportunity to join some of our short-term missions in order to interview some of our short-term participants and write the final report at the end of the mission.

Your office will be based at our Training Centre.  You will be part of OM Lifehope's international community, living and working alongside people from at least 25 different nationalities.

Do you enjoy working in a people-focused office environment? Join our personnel team and help out with administration! Based at our training centre, you will work in a team responsible for people joining our field, their member care and preparing them for re-entry at the end of their commitment.  You will be involved in communication, data entry, updating lists, arranging interviews and other personnel administrative tasks.

Your role will be in the three ares of Mobilisation, Recruiting and Development. This includes to set-up and speak at church meetings in London and occasionally in Europe, inviting, encouraging and challenging people to get involved in OM Turning Point’s ministry.  Also co-ordinating with the communications department to develop recruiting materials for these meetings. Help set up a financial development system.

There will be opportunities for you to get involved with outreach and training.

We also want you to commit to helping in one of our two church plants on Sunday.

OM Lifehope is looking for qualified male and female youth workers to work with an established youth work. You will have regular meetings with the youth, visit their friends, and develop relationships with families. You will also have opportunity to develop the youth work in order to see more impact in the community.

OM's International Communications Department is in need of a Graphic Artist. This role will require the conceptualisation and production of materials to effectively communicate OM's marketing and communications strategies using a wide range of media - through web, print, and multimedia. Familiarity with Adobe software is strongly encouraged, but not a requirement

OM's standard server (file/print/mail) operating system is an enhanced version of Linux based on CentOS 5.  Our version includes a simple to use menuing system to aid system administration tasks. Developers are required to take advantage of Linux improvements and to add further functionality to our standard server operating system. A tester is required to assist in the verification of new functionality and bug fixes. It would be possible to perform this role from a remote location.

The training department of OM International Human Resource Services develops, oversees and facilitates appropriate training for work roles and personal development for all its staff. The online learning developer will work with the other training professionals in the department to extend the e-learning capacity to meet OM needs. Currently, an online learning management tool (Moodle) is being used, and it is expected that other e-learning tools will be implemented in the future.

As Community Manager for our Open Source Software Project "OpenPetra" (www.openpetra.org) your task would be to create and foster a culture in which people are encouraged to participate and where they realize that their contributions can make a real difference and can help other users. OpenPetra will eventually replace OM's current administrative software.

Developers are needed to work on OpenPetra, an Open Source Software Project initiated by OM (www.openpetra.org). It will eventually replace OM's current in-house software package, Petra, which is used in over 90 locations worldwide and is vital for the stability and upkeep of OM's administration records and financial systems.

This is an opportunity to serve as a System Administrator in OM's International Co-ordinating Team (ICT).  The role is to maintain and develop the IT facilities for a busy International office including a number of remote workers.  There are many opportunities to investigate new technologies and software that can be used internationally in OM.  ICT supports and co-ordinates OM's work in about 100 countries and the System Administrator role is vital for this team to be as effective as possible.

OM's International Communications Department is in need of Web Designers. This role will require the production of web designs to reflect OM's unique character and multinational culture.

Web technologies are a vital part of OM's IT infrastructure and are used to make information available within the organisation, to the public, and to partner individuals and organisations.  Web technologies are also important for building and maintaining a sense of community.  The Web System Programmer will be part of an international team that is enhancing and expanding OM's external and internal web presence through the translation of business requirements into technical designs and functioning components.

The job would suit a proven Finance professional with an established track record of problem solving and team leadership across cultural and international boundaries. The training department of OM International Human Resource Services develops, oversees and facilitates appropriate training for work roles and personal development for all its staff. Our desire is that every OM-er is equipped to fulfill their ministry roles and to grow in their relationship with God, and we see training as a key element in this. The international training coordinator will work with the other training professionals in the department to support and network with trainers across the organization, to develop training strategy, policy and ethos, and to assist in presenting effective training to meet OM’s needs.

The coordinator of the international training department is accountable to the International HR director (Director of International Personnel Services).

We are a vibrant, growing, dynamic OM field seeking a motivated and focused leader-manager for our personnel and member care team. The heartbeats of our field are evangelism, discipleship and training. You will be releasing and helping others on the frontline of mission, by managing people, applications, visas, interviews, appraisals, re-entry, record keeping, policy and procedures.

The regional co-ordinator's role is to lead OM's representation to local churches and individuals in his/her region of the UK.  We currently have regional co-ordinators representing us in only five regions – there is scope for another half a dozen!    The role involves taking meetings on behalf of OM, meeting church leaders, helping OMers strengthen relationships with their sending churches and supporters, organizing meetings for visiting speakers and presentation teams, etc.

Based at our training centre, you will work in a team responsible for people joining our field, their member care and preparing them for re-entry at the end of their commitment.  You will be involved in communication, data entry, updating lists, arranging interviews and other personnel administrative tasks.

You will be part of OM Lifehope's international community, living and
working alongside people from at least 25 different nationalities.    You will attend our daily devotional times every morning and our weekly
