Our Purpose is to motivate and equip Christian Teens to have a real friendship with Jesus and reflect Him in their world.

Our DoubleVision is to Love God & Love People.

Our Vision of Love first looks up to God. This Love is possible because of the real friendship we have with His Son Jesus. This friendship grows through "God Time"- spending time with Him daily, "The Walk"- obeying Him and "My Net"- surrounding ourselves with people who support us in this friendship.

Our vision continues as we look out to Others. We reflect His Love to the People in our world. We commit to "Serve" (physical), "Support" (social and emotional) and tell "Stories" (spiritual) of our real friendship with Jesus to our family, friends, church, community, and world.

Our Values grow out from our DoubleVision.

  1. 1) "God Time": We value spending time with God daily and we provide a free and clear method called "The Big Adventure". This method focuses on Reading and Reflecting on the Bible, Prayer, Listening to God and Journaling. During the TeenStreet congress we use this method and we provide "God Time" helps. Teens can check the TeenStreet web site for other resources during the year.
  2. 2) "The Walk": We value obeying what Jesus says. We try to follow up teens after TeenStreet through TeenStreet reunions, Teen group leaders training, TeenStreet web site encouragement and "My Net"(see 3).
  3. 3) "My Net": We value a support group to help encourage and provide accountability for teens as they live the friendship with Jesus. Every teen is part of a NET during the TeenStreet congress. We also provide guidelines (called "My Net") for a continual support group back home.
  4. 4) We value "Serve, Support and Story" through practical training and ideas during the TeenStreet congress, encouraging stories on the TeenStreet web site, and short term mission opportunities at home and abroad called the "TiM Experience".

Our Program at TeenStreet grows out of these two questions: What to teach and how to teach it?

Our success is based upon what was remembered by the teen, rather than what was taught to them. We begin the process with the one truth that needs to be taught. Then we experientially create understanding of that one truth.

We do this by capturing the teen's interest through audible, visual, physical and emotional involvement in which the truth can be experienced. This truth is then enhanced by the relationships they build throughout the week, within their small group as well as talking with other teens and leaders.

Our Program is far more than what takes place on stage and in small groups. The program is actively happening throughout the day as it challenges the teens in 5 areas.

The first challenge is to their Spirit through the meetings, small groups, and "God Time".

Then to their Social involvement, as they are a part of a large international congress as well as part of a small group. The Physical is also challenged through sports, workshops and skills they may learn.

Each teen also has their Emotions stirred as they open up to others, help others, laugh a lot and perhaps shed a few tears.

Another area of real importance is the Mind. The teens learn valuable information and make important choices. Some of these challenges last for a short time while others will affect the rest of their lives.

Our People Care at TeenStreet is based on the national structure.
Each country sends teens and adults to TeenStreet, and we have having the appropriate adults to care for and support the teens at TeenStreet. This consists of Coaches (1 per up to 6 teens of each sex), M&M (Ministry & Management) Leaders to support up to 7 coaches, Prayer Team, Counselors, Crisis Intervention, and other Service Team volunteers.
