LOGOS HOPE STEP - Dec 2010 - Mar 2011: Ships

Life on the ships is fast-paced and can be intense. Come with a servant heart, an attitude to learn, and willingness to be flexible, and this could be the experience of a lifetime. Many who have been on STEP bear witness to the huge impact it has made in their lives, and to how God has worked in and through them.

The S.T.E.P (Short Term Exposure Program) is a unique opportunity for young people to serve God on board the ship.

Ministry Details

In addition, living and working alongside people from different nations gives you firsthand experience of what it takes to be a cross-cultural Christian worker. It is both challenging and enriching. The days will be filled with practical work in one of the ship’s departments (40 hours per week/8 hrs per day). Depending on the country visited, ideally a STEP group would go on one overnight trip, where they live and work with a local church for 2-3 days. Outreach Teams – one day per week, you will participate in an assigned ministry experience. It might be an onboard program or an onshore event.
