Albania: Love Albania Next Generation This option is tailored towards youth groups of 10-15 people including leaders/adults. Love Albania is our campaign to reach out to the unreached in the villages of Albania. Pastors from cities have started to reach out and plant sister churches in surrounding villages. Those living in the villages often lack transportation to get to the cities and, more importantly, often lack access to the gospel in their local communities. Love Albania is a way for us to encourage pastors, break new ground as we help them connect with more people who haven’t yet heard of God’s great love for them. Love Albania: Next Generation takes part in this campaign by inviting teenagers from aboard to partner with local teenagers from the churches to reach others. The driving force behind this part of the Love Albania campaign is the TeenStreet movement. This is a teenage discipleship movement from within OM that wants to unlock the potential of the next generation and mobilise them to reach the world. By bringing teenagers from aboard and locally, training them together and then leading them out to do ministry together we are confident they will become even more vibrant Jesus followers. The skills and experiences they acquire on this outreach are able to be taken home (or kept active for the local teenagers) and applied wherever they find themselves in life. This also creates bonds across countries that will help these teenagers to see that, in fact, they are part of something incredibly big and that they have an important, yet personal role to play.
