Through the ‘Building Bridges Experience’ we aim to enable contact between Christians and Muslims, Austrians and migrants, where we can share God’s love and the Good News. We hope the participants will learn how God wants and is able to use them to reach out to people from other countries.
The participants will plan and carry out activities along with Christians from churches in Graz with the intention of establishing contact with people from a wide range of countries. Additionally, we will be spending time with the Christian refugees we are already in contact with. We will offer day trips, sporting events, free time activities, an international café, games afternoons, house visits, etc. Those we meet will also be invited to an evangelistic programme in the evenings which will conclude with time for conversations and getting to know people.
In the mornings there will be time for training sessions, preparation, prayer, bible study, team building and opportunities for feedback in a group setting. In the afternoons we will be going out and carrying out various programmes and activities with the aim of establishing contact with migrants and refugees, Christians and Muslims. This will also be a good opportunity to invite people to the evening events, which will take place in one of the churches.

There are so many migrants and refugees living in Graz who do not know Jesus, and we have an amazing opportunity to show them God’s love and share the best message in the world with them. There will also therefore be plenty of time for prayer, including prayer walks, etc., since we are firmly convinced that God wants to reach many of these people and win them for himself.
