BRINGING HOPE FROM SHORE TO SHORE IN THE CARIBBEAN.
Fuel is the lifeblood of Logos Hope and provides the opportunity to sail the ship around the world. With the Logos Hope sailing 8,000 nautical miles in an average year (in 2017 6,000 miles), fuel is vital in transporting the ship’s 400 staff and crew from port to port. It also allows the ship to be open to visitors while docked. The lighting, air conditioning and electricity provided by generators make the ship’s ministry possible.
By supporting the Fuel Appeal, you are part of a ministry that impacts lives, with many thousands each day connecting with crewmembers on board in our book fair, iCafe, events and through on shore activities.
A UK Vision Team visited the ship in Kingston. They were able to share spiritual and practical hope with eyesight testing and prayer in Spanish Town.
Kathryn, a member of the Vision Team, shares: “I offered to pray with a woman. She replied that she was not a Christian, but that she would like to have a personal relationship with Jesus. After we prayed together, I connected the woman with Fitz, the local church worker so that he could follow up with her after the team had left.”
Many thanks for your ongoing prayer and support in sharing knowledge, help and hope.
Sincerely in Jesus name,
