This year, I am running the Belfast Marathon on 5th May to fundraise for the ministries of OM in Greece, which I will also be going to serve alongside this summer!

"Supporting the local church to witness Christ locally and globally" Operation Mobilisation in Greece seeks to fulfil this mission statement by partnering alongside local churches and Christian organisations in various ministries including:

  • Church-based Mercy Ministries: Supporting ministries such as youth discipleship, meal sharing with the homeless, clothing distribution, and other outreach events.
  • Justice Ministries: Supporting and partnering with local ministries, such as House of Damaris, Nea Zoi and Threads of Hope, which work amongst women and men who are victims of human trafficking and sexual exploitation in the region.
  • United to Impact: United to Impact is a ministry community that seeks to build networks and platforms for Christians in Athens to grow deeper in both their faith and their passions to bring impact to their communities.
  • Refugee Ministry: They are serving directly in camps through local ministry centres and churches and are also supporting the work of the Greek Evangelical churches in other cities as they reach out to refugees in their area.

The money raised will all go towards supporting these ministries and the amazing work that is being done in Greece with the support of OM – so please give generously if you are able!

This summer I will also be spending a month in Greece to serve with OM Hellas, where I will be serving alongside the team there as they seek to share the love of Jesus and the message of hope that He brings to all of us with the people that they encounter.

Finally, thank you so much for support – please remember the work of these ministries in your prayers and also pray for me as I prepare to head out in June!

If you have any questions at all please feel free to contact me!
