The purpose or vision for this medical outreach is in three fold:

1. Providing free medical services and drugs to help relieve sick people from suffering for lack of finances, medical services and
health workers.

2. To show the love of Jesus Christ to these people as the great healer who takes away our sins, sicknesses and pains.

3. Provide Christian medical professionals, health workers and volunteers an opportunity to share their faith through services to poor people.
A number of villages in northern Ghana lack health facilities and workers. The people are poor and can’t access medical services elsewhere and sometimes are not within reach. Drugs are rarely available and these villagers have very limited options other than to use painkillers to treat any illness and also the use of unorthodox medicine. Through our medical outreaches, OM Ghana is reaching thousands of unbelievers in these rural communities with the Gospel and medical aid. This outreach is in response to a huge number of requests from various communities where we serve to provide medical services and supplies. We have seen the plight of these people as most communities lack health facilities.
The medical outreach is focused and conducted in villages where there is no or limited access to medical health/services. We provide free consultations, drugs, laboratory services, food supplements to malnourished children, pregnant women and nursing mothers. The outreaches provide us with a wonderful opportunity to share Jesus Christ with people who under normal circumstances would not attend any Christian event. Ministries include children's evangelism, preaching in schools, open air crusades/Jesus film shows, prayers, one on one, door to door and evangelism among Muslims and Fulani people. We hope to plant churches in a Muslim community during the outreach.
