Come and serve at a conference that is sending out new workers into OM. You will be blessed and inspired by encounters with people of all ages and nationality. You will learn about missions opportunities and be challenged in your own walk with God.

GO stands for Global Orientation. The purpose of the conference is to orientate all new workers before they go out to their different places of ministry. Without your help this conference is not going to happen!

Participant Profile

You will need to be physically fit, willing to serve and flexible.

Accommodation:

January GO - You will be accommodated in the German home office, which is also the conference centre.

August GO - We’ll be using a combination of dormitory -style rooms, camping cabins and tents with bunk beds. Because of the larger rooms, it will not be possible for you to have your own room on site. If you are based in Europe and would like to bring your own caravan or tent, there is plenty of space for you. Sheets and blankets will be provided for each bed. You can either bring your own towels or rent them on site. Baby cots are available; please make sure to note it in the registration if a child needs a baby cot.

Food:

Food is provided during the whole time.

Travel:

Everyone must organise and pay for their own travel to and from the conference centre.

January GO - The final train station is 'Mosbach West', which is on the opposite site of the conference centre. You can book your flight to Frankfurt Airport which is two hours away from Mosbach or fly into Stuttgart Airport, which is the same distance as Frankfurt.

August GO - You will need to fly to Schiphol airport. Please do not plan to arrive later than 14:00 (2:00pm) at the airport. If your departure flight is before 11:00 (11:00am) you need to spend the night at the airport or find alternative accommodation in Amsterdam. You will need to travel to Delden train station from the airport.

Health:

You need to be able to work 6-8 hour days and be ready to be on your feet the whole day!

Visa:

British citizens do not require a visa to enter Germany or Netherlands.

Notes:
Individuals applying must be 18 or over.

Price excludes flights and insurance.

If volunteering to look after staff children you will need a DBS check, which if done through OM costs an additional £20.

As we are not charging costs for food and accommodation, there is the possibility to donate towards your time with us.
