Come and engage with a diverse and often needy urban community by sharing the gospel, friendship, and practical love. God has brought the world to our doorstep in this historic Black Country area of Lye, and this is a great opportunity to serve as part of a cross-cultural team in partnership with a local church. You will serve with the many children and young people that are in the area, using different styles of evangelism, helping organise a children’s and youth programme, helping with barbecues and possibly sports, and helping practically where needed. There could be the opportunity to help with a small church plant on a neighbouring housing estate too.
Through this cross-cultural experience, you will have the amazing opportunity to grow in your faith and relationship with God. You will have some initial training as part of the programme. Of course, with the current situation with Covid we will need to be both flexible and creative with our plans.
