OM's audio visual and conference services department (OMNIvision) is in need of a Technical Assistant.  This role is to facilitate smooth and efficient running of conference services as required.  It will involve working with video and graphics, sound, lighting, IT, set up and pack down.  

Job requirements

  • Experience with video and camera work.
  • Experience as a sound technician.
  • Being willing to get involved wherever needed in a high pressure environment.
  • High flexibility and willingness to learn new skills particularly with respect to IT, multi-media, AV.
  • Adherence to Christian beliefs and values.
  • Willingness to travel.
  • Possession of a Class "C" (32 tonne rigid truck) driving licence would be an advantage.
Start date: January or August 2020
Commitment length: 1 - 2 years
