The team will be helping with children's camps in Shebalino & Apshuyachta villages in the Altay republic. 

There are 8 ethnic groups in Altay that never heard the Gospel. This team will be involved in reaching out to the unreached children & youth. Most of the kids have grown up in dysfunctional families. Come and share God's love with them!

Ministry Details

The program starts with an orientation day at the OM base in Novosibirsk. Then the team will travel by minivan to Altay and stay there for 10 days leading the children's camps in 2 villages. The programme will finish with a debrief back in Novosibirsk.

Participant Profile

You need to enjoy working with children, have a willingness to serve and a heart for the unreached. You will need to be flexible, able to live in very simple village conditions and ready to help with cooking for your team.

Accommodation

In Novosibirsk you will be sleeping in shared rooms at the OM base. In Shebalino village the team will be staying in local believers' homes.

Food

Good traditional Russian & Altay food. If you have any allergies or dietary requirements please let us know in advance.

Travel

Book flights to arrive at Novosibirsk Tolmachevo airport (OVB) on June 27th and depart  from Tolmachevo (OVB) on July 11th 2019.

Health

You should be in good health.

Visa

You will need to apply for a Russian visa which would cost a minimum of £100. Please see https://www.gov.uk/foreign-travel-advice/russia/entry-requirements  for advice. 

Notes

Applicants must be 18 or over. This outreach is tailored towards participants aged 18-50. Price excludes flights, insurance, visa & any possible vaccinations and is subject to change according to the exchange rate. As part of our Safeguarding policy, you may require a valid enhanced DBS certificate, which may cost an additional £20.
