Ministry Details

Most Thai people have heard of Christmas and it's somehow a special season for people to celebrate with with their friends and love ones. Fancy lights and Christmas trees will be decorated in the malls, schools, government buildings, even in some small supermarkets. But the sad truth of Christmas in Thailand is that it seems to be a season of business people making money, people giving gifts, some call it a season of happiness or a season of giving, but they have no idea what the true meaning of Christmas is and why people around the world celebrate it.

All the ministry that the team will be doing is to support the local church to reach out to the community in a special way.

Most of the outreach programme will relate to Christmas.  The team will be going to schools (an elementary-high school) to provide a programme (games, songs, dramas, activities, teaching languages, etc) to bring the meaning of Christmas across to 100+ students in a school.

We will also be visiting patients in he hospital, taking Christmas gifts to them and praying for them.

As well as street/market evangelism to engage with local people through games, songs, dramas, etc
