It is highly likely Transform will be repeated in 2020. Transform usually takes place in the first couple of weeks of July and starts with a 5 day conference. The country the conference is held in may change and the outreaches following may also differ. To register your interest, please use the 'I've got a question' button at the bottom of the page and we will send you the 2020 dates and details when they become available. There is always an option to go to the conference only or do both the conference and an outreach afterwards.

Transform (www.om.org/transform) is a unified effort around Europe to create momentum for the Gospel by training them to tell their personal God story.

The Transform Conference is a unique opportunity to meet and hear international speakers and intercultural mission workers from OM teams in the Mediterranean.

The conference will be held in Athens and includes a local outreach day where conference participants put into practice the training received.

You can join for the conference only or apply to join an outreach afterwards. The information below this grid relates to all the options and then you'll find the specific outreach details below that.

We are simply aiming TO BE for Roma people, to live with them, attend their church services, listen to their stories and music, what they’re passionate about and the disappointments they’ve had, play with the kids and youth, pray for elderly and sick people, live a simple lifestyle and be a friend to the Gypsies.

ALBANIA

Journey to the North of Albania

The heart behind this month-long outreach is for an intercultural team of young people to grow in discipleship and leadership, becoming more Kingdom-minded and like Jesus as we train and travel together, ministering in a variety of ways with different small local churches in northern Albania where there are very few evangelical Christians.

As we learn how to follow Jesus more closely individually and as a team in this Journey, we will do various training or teaching to help in the areas of spiritual and leadership development. We will also be practical by ministering in a variety of ways in three different locations in the north of Albania (Koplik, Bajram Curri) and potentially a location in Kosovo for about a week at each place. We want to be a part of relevantly impacting each of the areas we go to, strengthening and encouraging local church leaders by helping in the areas of ministry where needed. Even though we are in each area a short time, we believe this time can have eternal impact! We desire to hear God’s voice and to know His heart for us, Albania, and how we are to be a part of His Kingdom work even after this month together!

You must be adventurous and in good health and physically able to stand, bend, lift, walk, and do other physical activity as needed.  We will be travelling by local bus within Albania and Kosovo.

We will be staying in various accommodation such as guest houses, staying with Christian families, and at the local church. All meals are provided. Not all dietary restrictions will be able to be met since we will be in remote areas of Albania and Kosovo and not near big cities.

Travel from Greece to Albania on 13th July will be included in your outreach cost. Your travel to the conference in Greece and home from Albania are not included.

Love Albania

For the past 2 years OM in Albania has been helping a small local church in the village of Gorre, Albania. Recently the church has renovated their building and can now house a team of up to 35 people. The pastor of this church has a passion/vision to reach all of the surrounding villages near Gorre. The villages are made up of primarily Greek Orthodox and Muslim families.

The surrounding area near the village of Gorre has a population of about 80,000 people and there are only 2 churches. The team will be split into groups and we plan on targeting the local villages near Gorre. The team will be working primarily with kids and youth. In the evening, we plan on having a time of reflection to hear what God has done that day.

Teams will be made up of international participants, local OMers and Albanians.

You must be adventurous, and in good health and physically able to stand, bend, lift, walk, and do other physical activity as needed.

For the outreach we will be staying at the church centre in dorm-style rooms. Some participants will be staying with families.

Your travel from Greece to Albania on 13th July will be included in your outreach cost. Your travel to the conference in Greece and home from Albania are not included.

SERBIA

Refugee Ministry

In Serbia you will be supporting the team by providing relief for refugees. • You will stay in simple hotels, hostels & guest houses.
