UK: Commonwealth Games 2022 Our purpose is to share God’s love with people in a variety of communities in Birmingham and the West Midlands. Investing in people’s lives in this way will build bridges. We want to equip, train and challenge Jesus followers to reflect Him and to use their God given gifts. As a result, we hope to see the community around local churches impacted. We also hope that all participants will go away strengthened in their faith and with a deeper desire to share their faith with their friends back at home. Using the Commonwealth Games as an opportunity to share God’s love, serve with an international team alongside local churches. We will give you orientation and training to help you share your faith. Details of Ministry We want to share God’s love with people through the means of the Games. You will meet people of all backgrounds and ages. This is a great opportunity for the local church in Birmingham as you to help them during this time of festive sports. You will have the opportunity to engage people in conversations using a variety of tools: your testimony, the Prayer Tent, street evangelism, children’s ministry, book tables, hospitality in "The Big Red Bus", music and art.
