Ruth Bullock Donate Having trained and worked as an Occupational Therapist in the UK, Ruth’s passion has always been for people with disabilities, and in particular raising awareness of disabilities. Ruth and her husband Dan and their children first worked in Zambia with operation mobilisation in 2011 for 4 years where Ruth worked with alongside, and later led, Bethesda Disability Ministry in Zambia. The Bullock family moved back to Zambia in 2019 where Ruth took up the role as Team Leader for the OM Africa Disability Inclusive Ministry. This is a growing ministry with the vision to see equal gospel access and effective participation in the gospel for people with disabilities across Africa. Ruth and her team are involved in the training and coaching of missionaries and church leaders, enabling them to see God’s heart for people with disabilities to be a part of His kingdom. They are working alongside OM fields and partner organisations to see the gospel become accessible for people of all abilities across Africa. Ruth has a heart to see people with disabilities not only come to know the saving love of the Lord Jesus Christ but also to be discipled and to become disciple-makers within their communities, using their God-given gifts to serve in the local church. Ruth and her family are now living in the UK but she is continuing to lead the team in Africa in this vital area of ministry to ensure that people with disabilities, who are largely unreached with the gospel, are able to actively be a part of Vibrant Communities of Jesus followers.
