Romania: Adventure Camp for Kids & Teens This option is for Groups to join us this summer to spread the good news and love of Jesus at a children and youth camp in the Black Sea region! Our outreach aims to touch the hearts of children and teenagers, sharing the life-changing truth of God’s love and the hope of salvation in Christ Jesus. You can serve and love these people with your life and your talents. Our desire is that they come to know the Lord, and you can be a part of that. Through engaging Bible stories, creative hands-on activities, fun games, and heartfelt worship, we seek to touch the lives of children and teenagers, guiding them to experience the true joy that is only found in Christ Jesus. The camp will take place in a Mircea Voda. Dates 10 - 17 August 2026 Apply by 10 June 2026 Cost (excluding flights, insurance, any possible vaccinations & DBS) £525 Ages 18+ but under 18's can apply with parental consent and accompanied by a responsible adult Suitable for This option is for Church groups of 6+ people Participant Profile We're looking for people who are: -Adventurous, flexible, and ready to be stretched physically and spiritually-Eager to grow in your faith and experience God in a new way-Passionate about sharing the Gospel with those who have never heard-Be willing to serve with humility and take initiative, using your gifts to share the gospel with children and teenagers Accommodation You will be accommodated either in the homes of church members or in a guesthouse near the camp. Food You will be offered traditional Romanian meals. Please advise us if you have any special dietary requirements or allergies. Travel Each participant is responsible to book and pay for their flights to and from Romania. Flights should be booked to Bucharest (OTP or BBU) or Mihail Kogălniceanu International Airport (CND). OM team members will meet you at the airport, train station, or bus station upon arrival. Please do not book flights unless you have received an official acceptance email from the short term opportunities team. Health Participants should be in good health and physically capable of standing, bending, lifting, walking, and performing other physical activities as required during the outreach Visa British passport holders do not require a visa to enter Romania for less than 90 days. Please note, OM Romania cannot issue letters of invitations for people joining OM for short term outreaches, therefore unfortunately, it will not be possible to apply if you require a visa to enter Romania. Notes As above, this option is for groups of 6+ people joining together. Price is subject to change according to the exchange rate. The price may change depending on the number of people and demand for cars to the airport. Under 18's are welcome to apply but must have parental consent and be accompanied by a responsible adult. Children under 13 will be included on their parent’s application form. As part of our Safeguarding policy, you may require a valid enhanced DBS certificate, which may cost up to an additional £30.
