Horn of Africa Community Worker Do you have a heart for the people from the Horn of Africa who are living in the UK? Are you willing to learn their language and seek to understand their culture? Do you want to get to know them, share the Gospel and disciple young believers? This is a pioneer ministry, very few are intentionally trying to do this, but you will serve with a church and seek to help those from the Horn of Africa meet Jesus and be part of a vibrant community of Jesus followers. Start Date: as soon as possible Commitment Length: as long as possible (full-time) You must have: A willingness to sacrificially serve this community and to learn to communicate your faith in a way that they understand. Good spoken English and a willingness to learn their language. Experience in sharing God’s love in an urban context. A desire to love people and pray for them. Most people joining OM raise financial support towards the cost of their salaries/expenses. This is usually through gifts from home churches and other supporters.
