Every summer more than 200 international participants visit Moldova for our “Love Moldova” programme. Over a two-month period of the summer, we offer a variety of exciting options for two-week outreaches in Moldovan villages. Teams come alongside local churches sometimes staying in one village and sometimes travelling from place to place to share God’s love and truth with the people of Moldova.

The purpose of GO4Adventure is to reach children and youth with the Gospel, encourage the local churches, and worship God in the splendour of nature. Through this cross-cultural experience, you will have the amazing opportunity to grow in your faith and relationship with God.

Join us for a unique mission adventure that you don’t want to miss! In the Go 4 Adventure, you will “Go” throughout Moldova utilising “4” different modes of transportation: trekking, cycling, train, and horse & cart, bringing the Gospel with you from village to village. Together with a team, you will travel the remotest and most beautiful unreached areas of the country. You will visit churches and reach out to youth and children through evangelistic programmes.

Ministry Details

The team will embark upon an exciting adventure travelling from village to village, engaging with the culture as you stay in believer’s homes, encouraging small groups of believers, and partnering with local churches to share the Gospel. You will have the opportunity to organise children's programmes, youth outreaches, visit families and elderly in their homes, and help practically where needed.

Accommodation

You will stay at the OM centre on arrival & before departure where you will have your debrief. During the outreach you will sleep in tents some nights and other nights you may either sleep in a church building or with local families. Please note that it may not be possible for groups, families or married couples to remain together within the different accommodations. 

Food

Good Moldovan food is provided. Sometimes you will have to prepare your own meals together as a team. Please advise us if you have any special dietary requirements.

Travel

Participants must arrange their own travel to and from Chisinau, Moldova (RMO). Participants will be picked up by OM team members at the airport, train, or bus station and taken back to the airport, train or bus station after the outreach. The dates above include the arrival and departure days.

Please do not book flights unless you have received an official acceptance email from the short term missions team.

Health

Participants must be in good health and physically able to carry a backpack, stand, bend, lift, walk up to 15 km per day and do other physical activities as needed.  Everything you take for this outreach must be carried on your back. 

Visa

British citizens do not require a visa to enter Moldova for less than 90 days.

Notes 

Price is subject to change according to the exchange rate.

Individuals applying must be 18 or over.

We can only accept families with teenage children who are able to carry their own backpack and walk up to 10 km a day. 

Under 18's must have parental consent and be accompanied by a responsible adult. Please talk to us before registering minors.

As part of our safeguarding policy, you may require a valid enhanced DBS certificate which will cost an additional £15. 

If there are not enough participants, we will propose another option.
