The project Participants will work with the Rose Project, which is part of a Finnish social work organisation, Samaria. Samaria helps people in the community through work place training, rehabilitation, and housing services. Our vision is for people who have been victims of human trafficking to become empowered to fully participate in society as they recover in a safe and loving environment. The participant will also be part of the OM team in Finland and involved in its church visits, events etc The program allows participants to gain experience in working within anti-trafficking and will receive mentorship throughout the stay from Justicelink representatives. Participants We are looking for a mature Christian woman, or a couple, that is willing to learn by coming alongside a team for a minimum of app. 3 months (90 day) period. The participant does not have to have previous experience of anti-human trafficking work but have a heart for serving individuals from vulnerable backgrounds. Formerly a mobile library, Bus4Life is a multi-functional ministry centre that serves the communities of Central and Eastern Europe. It brings Bibles and Christian literature to the people living in towns and villages who would otherwise have limited or no access to them. Each Bus4Life visit is accompanied by a local outreach team that carries out evangelistic programmes for all ages. The ministry is committed to working together with the national and local churches, providing them with quality Christian literature, ideas, and supplies in local ministry and outreach. The vehicle is registered as a truck so the driver needs to have a category C driving license (EU) and experience driving a heavy-duty vehicle. Live among in remote Roma/Gypsy village people groups in Romania with the goal to reach children, youth, and adults with the Gospel! Grow in your faith and relationship with God and help the second largest minority people group in Romania: the Roma known also as Gypsies. From 2 weeks up to 6 months you can live among Romas in a village: listing their stories, music, happiness and disappointments. Be a witness, together with local believers to other Romas, preaching the Gospel, organising children's, youth, and adult evangelistic programmes. Have the possibility to help with ongoing projects such as helping at afterschool programs, sports, teaching English, music, helping in the garden, the kitchen and a local bakery, or teaching any skills you have. Your group will join an outreach with local churches for children, youth work, visiting poor families with food parcels and sharing the Good News. The team can help lead Bible studies and church services. Get involved with teaching, orphanage work, sports or simply enjoy their wonderful hospitality in their home! Get a taste for life on the field and have the chance to share the Good News with the Muslim people here! We are looking for people who are flexible, open-minded and keen to serve the Muslim peoples of Central Asia. You can lead conversation clubs or teach lessons in English, German, Korean, Russian or Chinese at our language centre. We also run summer camps so bring your talents and teach them to the local students! You can also volunteer at a local orphanage, playing with the kids, teaching them practical life skills and serving them. You will be part of the Tamar Volunteer Team reaching out to women in the bars. Relationship building is very important and you need to be willing to engage with the women. We have all materials for teaching English ready for you to use and will teach you how to do outreach to the bars. You will also work with the women that have already left the sex industry and are doing vocational job training at our centre. We provide regular prayer meetings and devotions especially for the volunteers. We are reaching out to the least reached and mostly underprivileged and needy. Through the partnership with a local Thai school and a Thai church you have the opportunity to come to serve along side with our worker to reach out kids and youth through youth fellowship, English teaching, sports and outdoor activities. We are looking for someone who is recommended by his/her pastor, passionate about making friends and spending time with youth in spite of language barrier and exploring the opportunity of serving overseas.
