Urban Cross-Cultural Evangelist For the last 30 years OM’s mission base in Halesowen (Birmingham) has focused on training and cross-cultural urban evangelism. Today, we don’t need to get on an aeroplane to meet the least reached, we have them on our doorstep. Locally we have large populations from Asia, the Middle East and Eastern Europe. We need people who are willing to go to parts of the community where few are going; willing to begin to understand a different language and culture, share the Gospel and disciple new believers. Start Date: as soon as possible Commitment Length: 1-2 years (Full Time) Confidence in the power of the gospel to transform lives A heart to make disciples An interest in people from other cultures and languages and a willingness to engage with them Concern to serve the wider community and an openness to partner with a local church Willingness to learn A gift in communicating your faith Ability to speak English Most people joining OM raise financial support towards the cost of their salaries/expenses.
